Our Team

Katherine Uhler is the Center's Director. She became a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in 1980 and has been growing the nonprofit, all-volunteer Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center since. In addition to running the Center, she has earned a Master's Degree in Wildlife Biology and taught Ecology at Stroudsburg High School.

Eric Uhler, Kathy's husband, and co-director, is a vital part of the rehab center. His responsibilities include managing the massive amount of paperwork, caring for the large mammals and raptors, and generally making sure the place doesn't fall apart!
