Smile Thank you so much for taking in the fawn that jumped out in front of our truck yesterday. I can't wait to call you later today to find out his status. Hoping he will recover and live to be a large buck. I thank god you were there & able to take him. I hate to think of the alterative if you were not there.

Thank you Barbara for picking up an infant squirrel who fell out of his nest, along w. his siblings who died. The mother did not come. Perhaps something got her, like a hawk. Anyway, you are the best. He was a little champ. What a fighter, the smallest of the three too! Thank you. God Bless you and Pocono Rehab

I just want to say many thanks to Barbara Miller who helped me with a baby crow that fell from our Elm tree. I did my best to help, but I knew I could not give him the best care needed. Just making a few calls, Barbara was at my doorstep within 10 minutes to take the baby crow to safety. I thank the Gods there are such people and organizations out there to looking out for the helpless wild animals, and the helpless humans who find them!

I am writing this letter to say thank you for taking in the 3 little bear cubs on 6/17/2010. I unforentally hit their mommy on the road and sadley killed her. I tried everything in my power to avoid hitting her .She came out of the woods right in front of me and i was unable to miss her.I stayed at the scene until help arrived and the game commission showed up to remove her and thankfully heard the babies up a tree.I am sooo thankful that game comm. officer Fred Merluzzi was willing to take the time to bring the little ones to the rehab center.I want to send out a graceious and sincere thank you to all involved. This is a happy ending to a sad situation.

I am truly thankful for the work you do, you were so helpful and informative with our little problem of two baby racoons this past weekend. I do look forward to coming to the open house, I would like to possibly volunteer at your facility in the near future. I hope they are doing well.

Just wanted to say "Thank You" for all of the wonderful work you do for these precious animals! I dropped off an orphaned fawn to you on Sunday, 5/30. It is a great feeling to know that he will be well cared for, until he is ready to be released into the wild. Thank you, also, to Barbara for caring & for taking the time to talk to me on the phone & for helping me to figure out if the little fawn truly was abandoned. My family & I look forward to seeing your center at your Open House on June 12th! Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for taking the abandoned baby bunny today. I know that he/she is in good hands, and it is such a comfort to know that your facility is there to help animals like that.

We just dropped off four orphan baby bunnies and I thought you should know their names. The littlest one is Little Rock, the pushy one was Manhatten, the one who was tucked it the blanket was Wichata, and the only one left was Pennsy. Tongue

My friends and I found two domestic white ducklings in a public park. We assume they were Easter gifts that weren't wanted after they began to grow up. A great big "thank you" to the Center for helping these two sweet birds. Everyone, please communicate to others that animals are not disposable gifts.

A baby squirrel found us and, thankfully, I found Pocono Wildlife. After he disappeared and with much worry, Barbara helped with advice on how to help "Ralph" (as the girls named him). We managed to capture this tiny, wet and hungry guy and he is now in your care. Thanks so much for all you do!

We just wanted to say thank you so much! It was wonderful to know there was somewhere safe to take the red fox cub that everyone else wanted to put down! Knowing our new friend is going to be taken well care of is a HUGE relief! Thank you again for giving wildlife a fighting chance, you guys are angels- and we will continue to support your organization!

Kathy,
I have met you and your husband a few times through the wine tasting fundraiser and your show at the garlic festival. Your educational show was wonderful and greatly needed to inform the public. My daughter and I hope to see you both again in the spring, and we support you whenever we can. Take care

Thanks for a very fine presentation at the POWA conference last weekend. Enjoyed it not just an outdoor writer, but especially as a retired h.s. and community college biology teacher!

yesterday, we found a baby squirrel crying in our yard by a tree; unfortunately his mother had been killed. his eyes weren't open yet and there was a storm coming, so i took him in and warmed him up, and gave him something to drink. (a mixture of salt, sugar, and water). we called the game commission and were so grateful to find this place that could help the little guy. i hope that he's doing well and i just wanted to let you know how much i appreciate what you are doing for these animals.. please feel free to update us on the baby squirrel, we named him chester. Smile i hope that he makes a speedy recovery!

I saw your organization on Pennsylvania Outdoor show on TV. I have always wanted to be a wolf rehabilitator since I was 15 and saw Growing Up Wolf on Animal Planet yet finances prevent me from going somewhere with wolves. I hope that someday when I am through with college I could come out to the Poconos and work with you guys. My love for wildlife shall never die. If you have ANY information as to any place I could work or help out please let me know. I am graduated from high school and have plenty of time on my hands.

We just wanted to write and tell you how helpful Barbara Miller was to us in helping to rescue three little possum babies. She was nuturing and reassuring to both my children and it was a real learning experience for all of us. I thank you for the wonderful work all of you do to save animals and god bless you!

Late this evening (08-08-09), I found myself desperately searching the internet trying to find a wildlife rescue organization to take in a newly hatched red finch that I found in the middle of a street in Easton. It was weakly chirping and trying to carry itself along on tiny, featherless wings and it's eyes were yet too young to open but I saw it's determination to try to help itself. Although I felt my search would probably be futile, I became instantly determined to try to find help for this helpless but brave little soul. What a God-send it was to find Kathy's contact information and even more so, to not hear an answering machine pick up the telephone. Kathy showed great concern and compassion for this tiny songbird and asked me to bring it to her. Gratefully, I accepted the driving directions and immediately drove there with my tiny co-pilot chirping out directions...lol. A kind gentleman waved me into the driveway and transferred this hungry hatchling from an old nest I had turned into it's temporary nursery to a cleaner and warmer home. He heard the hatchling begging for food so he hurried in for the task. It is only now after I have returned home that I've had the time to review Kathy's website and learn of the damage her center suffered from a recent tornado. God bless Kathy's caring and compassionate soul and all those that help and support her in her efforts to watch over even the tiniest of God's creatures. By the way, Kathy...I named this little creature "Tit' Oiseaux" (Pronounced tee-wah-so) which is Cajun French for "Little Bird" and is the song title to one my culture's oldest and most beloved lullabyes. You have earned my support, respect and gratitude. I will tell all I know of your Center.

If there is anything you ever need, even help with fundraising, just let me know. You two do amazing work. Keep up the good work and may god bless you and yours!!

Kathy and Eric - my thoughts are with you as you recover from today's storm. I'm sure the last thing you are doing is reading on-line messages, but when you do have a minute to breathe, know that people far and wide are with you and supporting everything you do for wildlife. All the best, Kelly
